Good Life Fin aims to compete in the corporate sector and strives to offer efficient solutions to its clients that prove to be better than ones offered by its competitors.
The project was pretty straightforward with very clear objectives. The goal was to create a corporate logo design that looked professional and appealing.
Since finance is a very delicate sector, the logo needed to develop a sense of trust among potential clients. The client had no specific demands and needed a logo that appealed to those who dwell in the corporate sector.
Before we approach any design, our first step is to understand our client. We would want to clearly determine their expectations and requirements.
By doing so, we are able to establish an appropriate premise that would help us crack the design. The designer assigned with this project spent quality time understanding the client. Meeting sessions would be organized and the designer would discuss several approaches with the client to understand the direction the client wanted the designer to take.
The designer would also look into several references the client would discuss in the meetings to specifically understand the style that would be best suited. The client’s vision for the logo in most cases is very brief and it takes a great designer to fully understand this vision and ultimately crack the design.

After understanding the client, the designer proceeded towards making the logo itself.
In such cases wherein the client doesn’t necessarily provide any detailed specifics, the designer has the creative freedom to explore his options while also understanding his limitations.
Our designer came up with several renditions of the logo design and kept in touch with the client throughout the process.
He gave the client as many options as possible and upon receiving feedback, he would work on the changes that were specified by the client.
The designer understood clearly that the client expected a logo that had an icon and typography included. Eventually after going back and forth, the designer finally crafted the logo that had all the qualities that the client needed.
This is the final logo for Good Life Fin. As you can see, the designer tried to meet several requirements that were specified by the client.
The color chosen for the logo was gold and this was as per the client’s requirements. The icon incorporates the abbreviation of Good Life Fin (GLF) within it. The icon itself as a whole is a fresh leaf that symbolically indicates a fresh start.
The meaning sheds light on the fact that our client intends to give his clients a fresh and efficient start to their financial life. The font used in the logo tries to give it a corporate look.
That marks the end of this case study. Through this case we understand that a designer not only needs to listen and understand but must have a creative mind that can come up with several approaches to the same design.
It emphasizes on the fact that the more the options one can give his client, the better the satisfaction the client will have with the end result.
